A Complete Guide to Crash Courses / Intensive Driving Lessons

"Pass Your Driving Test in 5 Days / 7 Days"
We all know what is meant by a Crash Course - but seriously a crash is the last thing you want! Many Driving Schools offer intensive courses and there are a number of potential benefits of doing an intensive course of driving lessons. If you need to pass your driving test quickly, for instance because of work, or the need to fit it into college holidays then this is ideal. But don't think it's just the easy option. To pass your driving test is hard work and an intensive course is ... yes.. intensive! After the first couple of hours you might feel you can't take in any more. Well you need to if you're going to pass the driving test at the end of the week...

Is it right for me?
Well that's the important question. They work for some people but not others. Here are some guidelines.

Are you good at concentrating?
Are you willing to work hard?
Do you know anyone who has done an Intensive who can advise you?

And here are some questions to ask the Driving School

What is their Pass Rate for Intensives?
What happens if you don't pass?
How experienced is the Driving Instructor?
How many hours tuition do you get?
Do you have to have passed the Theory Test before starting the Course?
Can you do an assessment lesson with the driving school before signing up?

Intensive Courses don't have to last all day, every day for a week. Some Driving Schools offer one day courses for those almost ready for their test, or you can do courses spread over several weeks. Another option available is residential courses, where accomodation is included in the course. Such courses are often run by driving schools in holiday areas such as Blackpool
